Also we have been able to positively affect the environment that we operate in, as well as that of the people around us, leaveraging on our experience and expertise in environmental engineering.Throughout the world, legislation is being introduced to give statutory powers to governments on environmental matters. It is now essential that the environmental impactof all schemes be studied at the earliest stage and a formal assessment qualifying and quantifying the effects of these developments on the environment carried out. This is known as an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the information gathered is put forward as an Environmental Statement. Allott can advise in the first instance whether an EIA will be a requirement for a project and secondly can carry out the work using its wide range of planning and engineering skills.
